‘In Perspective’ is an interview series about the lesser known narratives from South Asia’s history and culture. It is an award winning series with over 300 short videos. Subjects range widely, from queer rights in ancient India, to colonialism’s impact on education and Indian feminism. The series premiered on Instagram, where it helped grow The Swaddle’s following by over 100K users.
I was the editor and co-producer for this series.
What’s The Point
‘What’s The Point’ is The Swaddle’s news analysis series that delivers the story behind trending current affairs.
I was a scriptwriter, presenter and co-producer.
What The Health
‘What The Health’ is a video series that busts common myths about health and sexuality. It addresses subjects like virginity, contraception, fitness and skincare for India’s young, urban audience. The series uses text animation and motion graphics, accompanied by a tongue in cheek tonality.
I was the scriptwriter, producer and co-editor for the second season of this series.
Objectified
‘Objectified’ is a video series that looks at the unique history behind everyday objects.
I co-wrote the scripts for this series.
Overthinking It - Hindi
‘Overthinking It’ is The Swaddle’s flagship explainer series that uses historical research and popular culture to argue against discrimination and social bias. I took charge of the production and translation of this series into Hindi.
I was the producer and frequent presenter for the series.
Pitch Sessions 2019 StartUp Jalsa
StartUp Jalsa is a platform that mentors and funds entrepreneurs in India.
In 2019, I was a content associate at its parent company, The Ideaz Factory.
I led the video coverage of 12 StartUp Jalsa pitching events across Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and 10 cities in India. On the road for more than a month, our team worked on tight deadlines to publish event coverage after every meet-up.
I was the producer and scriptwriter for this series.
In addition, I did the voice-overs and sound design.
